The revelation first came to light when @DANNYonPC on Twitter shared screenshots of Lehto’s sudden departure, highlighting the removal of all references to Battlefield and Ridgeline Games. This included Lehto’s own confirmation on Facebook earlier today, signaling a departure that seems to have transpired abruptly.

The circumstances surrounding Lehto’s departure remain unclear. It’s uncertain whether he chose to leave the studio independently or if the studio itself has shuttered. Notably, there are currently no open vacancies for Ridgeline Games listed on the official EA website, as pointed out by DANNYonPC.

Lehto’s association with EA began after the launch of Battlefield 2042, marking a significant phase of restructuring for the franchise.
